i want to share something real from today. i was up $650 within my first 2 hours of trading. then i kept going. finished the day at $200. still green. still a win on paper. but there's a feeling that's hard to explain when you know you left $450 on the table by not stopping. it's not losing money. it's the feeling of giving back something you already had. and that feeling is actually one of the most important signals in trading. because here's what the data tells me about myself: my highest win rate trades happen between 6:30am and 8:30am PST. after 10am PST — my win rate drops significantly on $spy 0dte. every time i've tried to trade past that window, the results speak for themselves. today was a reminder of that. so here's what i'm taking from it: the stop losses that hit today — i'm thankful for them. because without them it could've been a lot worse than $200. and the $450 i gave back — that's not a loss. that's $450 worth of education. because now i have more data on myself. more clarity on my window. more conviction that the system works inside it. every loss is a learning opportunity if you're willing to look at it that way. the market will always be there tomorrow. but only if you protect your capital today. know your window. trust your system. stop when you're ahead. everyday is a learning day.
