But it was more the attempt to play the puck? He obviously redirected the puck in but didn't have full control? But it is a weird one, and you bring up a great point.

If that’s the case the goal should be awarded to the last player who played it and no assists awarded. If Hellebuyck didn’t play the puck then it should be disallowed
