@Dad2B149889 @RGamerB_ I beat both and I liked the 1, as for the second, it was a mixed bag. I only like the Ellie sections. Especially the mall area.

@Joshuelle2 @RGamerB_ That's on Naughty Dog. For what it's worth, I actually do think mechanically TLOU 1 + 2 are fun to play, but I think he's probably referring more to the story. Like, "The Joker" isn't a "fun" film to watch but it's still great. FWIW I thought TLOU II story was ass though, obvs.

Now do the Frame Rate and Ray Tracing differences. 😏

@Dad2B149889 @RGamerB_ Spiderman felt great although I liked Arham City/Knights traversal more. I never played Spiderman 2 though, I only own the first. As for GOW/R, it has a great combat, but using the R1/ R2 for the axe felt annoying to me. I never felt like revisiting the games after 1 playthrough.

@Joshuelle2 @RGamerB_ I mean I can definitely see it. But the similarity is mainly that they're all narrative heavy 3rd person games with good graphics. Mechanically they're all very different. Spiderman for example has incredible traversal. GOW feels incredible in combat too.

@Olimar_prs Perhaps, at least I've won 2 tournaments before. First place in Soulcalibur 4 at Hastings, first place at GameStop at a game I don't want to mention, and second at another GameStop on Soulcalibur 5 launch night. I lost because they forced me and the finalist to choose random.

@Dad2B149889 @RGamerB_ Specs enhance visuals, not gameplay. One company makes games, the other makes beautiful interactive linear movies. Which one do you think has more replay value? The one where you control the game, or the one where the game controls you? One gives you freedom, the other doesn't.

@Joshuelle2 @RGamerB_ And specs can *absolutely* enhance the gameplay experience. "Videogames" is two words: "Video" and "Game". Of course the Game part is most important.. but wouldn't you want the "Video" part to be the best it possibly can be too?

@Dad2B149889 @RGamerB_ I got to give you some credit, I've played Astro, Demon Souls, and Spider-Man 1 and you get points for those. Still this is the famous PlayStation Template and those games are all flash and no substance. Some have terrible pacing.

@Dad2B149889 @RGamerB_ Specs don't make games fun. When developers rely on power and graphics, they tend to ignore what is more important. Gameplay. Sony fanboys would praise games for their graphics rather than the fun factor. Holding up on the joystick and watching characters talk isn't real gaming.

@Joshuelle2 @RGamerB_ Framerate directly affects gameplay.. and visual issues like excessive pop-in present on many Switch 2 games directly affects immersion.
