I had fun with the 2026 #TheOdyssey but I will say, the BIG scene with the suitors absolutely DID NOT top the 97 version as far as dialogue went AND this reveal. Listen to the PROMO Odysseus cuts on these bastards. (Careful for spoilers if you dont know the story)

To be perfectly blunt, mobile games are almost exclusively "free" ad-driven garbage that no one gives a shit about. They exist to make ad revenue and give people a little dopamine hit during work breaks. Nobody WANTS to own them, they want something free and disposable that can entertain them for a few seconds.

@ivvanex Bro… Sony wholesales physical games to retailers. Once those copies are sold to the retailer, Sony’s already been paid whether the store sells them or not. So you’re saying they’re competing with a channel they’ve already made money from?

People can do what they want but I hope they understand that once Sony goes full digital this won't happen. The only reason they have sales now is to compete with retail. This affects everyone but some people are too stupid to even think about that simple fact.

I get that some people prefer physical games, but are you really going to skip every great game just because there's no disc version? And btw, I've noticed that a lot of the accounts spamming this under every post were created either this month or last month. 🤔 Are physical-only gamers really this serious about it, or has "no disc, no buy" just become the latest spam trend on X? I'm thinking of selling my PS5. Just kind of disgusted with Sony and modern gaming in general. My daughter and I love our Switch 2 and she barely plays anything on PlayStation. Anyone else feeling the same way?

I really worry that a lot of people will get priced out of gaming with used games going away with discs. I know when I was younger, I would never have been able to afford some games at full price. Used games were a saving grace.

@oilbig386010 @FoxyyChar I get the concern but the PSN store rotates available content because of licensing agreements (the same way retail stores do) but once you buy it they don’t usually remove it from your account. That’s actually pretty rare

It's very funny seeing Sony get constantly ratio'd and just shit on overall for their decision to stop physical discs I'm all for what people are doing, because buying digital games is more-so you just renting it temporarily, and that it can be removed at any time
