I want to really appreciate those 3 young men who have been using their social media to advocate for Anioma and Igbo identity in Anioma. Those guys have been very diplomatic, very intelligent and strategic. You will never see them, use vulgar words, or disparage anyone. They have been very consistent, and they also debate intelligently. IPOB need to learn a lot from them.

Also, there’s not even a single Ukwuani town that migrated from Benin, but some “quarters” are from Benin. The Yoruba group in Enuani can still “speak” their Olukumi language, but the ones you claimed migrated from Benin can’t speak any atom of Benin. Anthropologists disagrees.

You claimed ancestry can determine, but as I use same logic, you retrace. Ukwuani in Delta bears Igbo names, speak Igboid language, & practice Igbo culture, so what makes them different from those in Anambra & Imo that speak same language, practice same culture & bear same name?

Migration do not redefine the identity of an entire people. Many African communities even non africans trace origins to other regions through migration, but over time, they form new identities and languages and cultures If ancestry alone determined ethnicity, then many communities across southern Nigeria that trace historical links to Benin Kingdom would all be Edo today including Igbos and Yorubas which obviously isn’t the case.

In Nkpor dialect, we say “nnua,” while Onicha uses nno, and Anam uses nnani. They all mean “welcome.” What does your Igbo dialect call it?

@keyeopene They are not paid influencers. Are you more Anioma than they are? When it’s time for the space, everyone should be allowed to speak, whether they want the state or not.

Before Ned Nwoko began pushing for the creation of Anioma, none of you or your leaders mentioned Etiti or Adada. Please keep that agenda aside, we don’t want it. We want Anioma State, and we fully support its creation!

@VivianRora You are not totally right nnem, make a research of adada state creation and you will it predates the clamour of anioma creation. Personally, i prefer anioma states to the creation of adada, in as much as adada creation will be of more benefit to my people.

No Vivian this is not true. inasmuch as we all want anioma state and I also support it. Adada state has always been agitated for , for well over 10 years now. We are all supporting anioma state so that we can unite the igbos west if the Niger. Not bcos Ned nwoko started agitating for it first.

@nzemmili @Cicerorian_ Leave him😂 Most people don’t know that the only reason the creation of Anioma State failed in 1991 was the inclusion of Onitsha in the Anioma State proposal.

I want to take bets on which state Assemblies will pass the Bill to establish Anioma state and which ones will reject it. In the SS the bill will fail in: 1. Delta 2. Rivers 3. Cross River (I’ll explain why). 4. Edo It may pass in Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa. It will pass in all 5SE state assemblies The big question will be weather the 6 SW states will pass it

@Cicerorian_ @Benzorla Did it even reach this stage in 2014? There’s no evidence of a National Assembly vote or state assembly vote back then.

@Cicerorian_ The senators from Delta Central and South are actually in support of it. Besides Delta North leaving Delta State means most resources will now focus on Warri and its environs. This is a win-win situation for everyone.

@Jotteee Delta is the first place it will fail. There are 29 seats in the Assembly. You need 2/3 of the house. Delta Central and South will vote against it. In Rivers, to avoid future wahala from the riverine people, it would be voted down.
