It looks like this year’s harvest will be catastrophic. That should be a worry for anyone who eats food. If a disaster on this scale had befallen any other industry, there would be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Hundreds of people have gathered in Bicester to remember a firefighter who died in the line of duty Martyn Sadler died alongside his colleague Jennie Logan and local businessman Dave Chester when a huge fire broke out at Bicester Motion in May. @JournoCallum reports

A procession funeral has taken place in Bicester for Jennie Logan who lost her life in the fire at Bicester Motion.

Oxfordshire’s Chief Fire Officer has given an emotional statement outside Bicester Motion. It’s after two firefighters tragically died in the line of duty.

Flowers have been laid outside Bicester Motion where two firefighters sadly lose their lives. There is also a message of thanks with a children’s drawing.

Three people have died, including two firefighters, after a fire broke out at Bicester Motion yesterday evening. Two further firefighters are also seriously injured in hospital. Our reporter @JournoCallum has been at the scene for us:
