Een tijdje terug moest mijn gele auto een nieuwe APK. Een paar dagen voor de afspraak wilde ik de auto uit de garage halen, maar de accu bleek leeg. Zoals vaker, deed ik een melding bij de Wegenwacht; plaats, kenteken etc. Een paar minuten later belde de Wegenwacht terug. ‘Ik zie dat uw APK verlopen is. Wij helpen geen auto’s zonder APK de weg op.’ Mijn herhaalde reactie dat de auto juist de weg op moet voor een nieuwe APK had geen effect. De monteurs van de Wegenwacht zijn geweldig, maar deze zelf bedachte bureaucratie is ergerlijk. Ik dacht: ‘Hier gaat ons land dus kapot aan’, maar zei: ‘Dan ga ik maar zoeken naar een andere oplossing.’
