The James Joyce Tower will be open on Monday 2nd February from 10am-2pm. Happy 144th Birthday Mr Joyce!!

James Joyce died on this day 13 January 1941. This Obituary Notice, by the great mythologist Joseph Campbell, was first published in The Sarah Lawrence College newspaper, The Campus on Wednesday 22 January 1941.

In the 70's Ian Jack and I visited @JoyceTower. The only others there were an American couple, the woman evidently none too sure why they were there. Until "Gee George, this guy knew Ernest Hemingway".
