@AshishGupta325 @raghav_chadha Wrong logic. STT is double taxation. It was brought in lieu of capital gains tax. And it is also a defeatist solution that since you cannot give jobs, just double tax the guys who are making some money.

Even the educated ones don’t seem to get it. Hiking STT on derivatives trading is akin to hiking taxes on tobacco. They don’t solve the problem, they just make the government rich enough to fund Laadli Behen Yojna. Do better, next time @raghav_chadha
