🇮🇳 Global Esports CEO & Co-Founder Rushindra Sinha has addressed the rumors about 🇺🇸 FrosT's departure:
"First and foremost, the rumor about FrosT being let go is true. FrosT will no longer be the head coach [of GE]. We have submitted our papers to Riot, and we are waiting to hear back from them. The paperwork is still in process, so you will see an official announcement soon. But since everyone is talking about it all over Twitter, I will address it and say yes, that is true.
Why was this decision taken? First of all, this isn't something that people normally come out and address, but since it is being so widely discussed all over social media, I'll just give you a little overview. We really appreciate everything FrosT has done for the team. I absolutely give him credit where credit is due. Brilliant coach. He brought our team results that we hadn't gotten before, and hopefully we get the opportunity to work with him again in the future.
But in the immediate future, he has different plans, as you will see shortly, and we will not be making any changes to our roster. The rest of our players will be continuing as is. We will have our assistant coach Daniel, most of you know him as Platoon, step into the head coach position for the remainder of the season. That is for EWC and Stage 2.
We ideally would have wanted to make as few or no changes, but unfortunately had to make these changes. The timing could have definitely been better. I will also say that this was absolutely my decision, so anything that anyone has to say about this, please direct it at me. Only time will tell whether this was the right call or it wasn't. We'll know in a few weeks.
Going forward, our goal remains the same: Champions, and everything it takes to first make it there, and second, to get the highest placement possible once we get there."

@RocketBullets @TanmayyMhatre Feel like with recent performance from meteor I guess it makes sense that Ivy takes the senti role. But no texture ? (Recent performance was phenomenal, solo carrying a win) no mako ? (Only original VS member that’s still holding KRX) idk I just feel like ts ain’t the strongest

TEAM KOREA 🇰🇷 DECIDED FOR ESPORTS NATION CUP
According to @TanmayyMhatre, the team will be:
BuZz 🇰🇷 T1
Munchkin 🇰🇷 T1
Francis 🇰🇷 NS
iZu 🇰🇷 T1
Ivy 🇰🇷 NS
Dambi 🇰🇷 NS
With this, all 6 players are Masters Winners, a 1st for ENC History
They have enough points to avoid qualifiers
According to ENC rules, only 3 players from a single team are allowed, so with Team South Korea, they have 3 from T1 🇰🇷 and 3 from NS 🇰🇷
Notably, there are no Korean players from VARREL🇯🇵, DRX🇰🇷, or GEN.G 🇰🇷, which leaves out some other players who have made a great impact on the scene. For example, they are missing Mr. 4K himself t3xture 🇰🇷 who has his own trophy, and fan favorite of DRX MaKo 🇰🇷 with his long-standing history. They also do not have UdoTan🇰🇷, who was the only Korean player at Masters London 🇬🇧
However, with Nongshim 🇰🇷, win being more recent, it makes sense why the three were picked for the team.
In terms of composition, they only have one in-game leader, being Munchkin 🇰🇷 of T1 🇰🇷. He is also the only controller player, meaning he will likely play each match. They also only have one sentinel player in Ivy 🇰🇷, one flex player in Francis 🇰🇷 and one initiator player in iZu. Which leaves Bangkok 🇹🇭 winner BuZz 🇰🇷 and Santiago 🇨🇱 winner Dambi 🇰🇷 to share one duelist position.
Who will be their primary duelist?

@DRX_VALORANT no wonder a lot of pacific pros including ex / current drx players supported beyn's statement, why would you not talk to your players and prioritize their feelings in the first place?

[Official Statement] Regarding Rumors of a Creator Contract with Former Player 'Flashback'
KIWOOM DRX would like to transparently address recent rumors surrounding a potential creator contract with our former player, Minhyeok 'Flashback' Cho.
1. Background & Timeline
As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce the external media workload placed on our active roster, the team has been exploring the recruitment of a dedicated team content creator with the goal to allow our players to focus entirely on competition. The following is a detailed account of the meetings held during this process.
April 24 - First Meeting
At the time, rumors were circulating regarding Flashback's potential return to the Tier 2 scene. As his former team, we arranged a meeting primarily to clarify the relevant league regulations, which explicitly prohibit Flashback from competing in the Tier 2 scene under a different team. During this meeting, we made it clear that "a sincere apology to and reconciliation with the current roster must be the first step." We also took the opportunity to learn about Flashback's post-retirement aspirations, including his interest in streaming. Given his openness to contributing to the team in a different capacity, a follow-up meeting was scheduled.
May 14 - Second Meeting
Building on Flashback's interest in streaming and his expressed willingness to rebuild relationships, further discussions were held regarding the possibility of him joining the organization as a content creator. This meeting focused on evaluating the potential scope of his activities and whether such a role could meaningfully reduce the players’ media activations as mentioned prior.
Note: These discussions were strictly exploratory. No official contract was drafted, and the team's internal approval process had not been initiated. During this period, some of the details under internal review were communicated externally, which led to misunderstandings and confusion.
May 15 - Final Decision
Before reaching any conclusion, the team reaffirmed that the well-being and stability of our active players are our highest priority. Upon careful consideration, we determined that safeguarding the current roster far outweighs the original objective of reducing their media burden. On the same day, a meeting was held with the players to share our assessment, and the decision was made not to move forward with the creator contract. This decision was communicated to all parties involved.
2. Clarification Regarding Mentions on a Stream
A recent stream made by an external streamer relayed information that was based on our review from the exploratory phase. It has been confirmed that some miscommunication occurred between the individual and their acquaintances at a time when the team's internal deliberations had not yet been concluded. We have also verified that the streamer in question referenced the matter without full knowledge of the final outcome.
3. Our Commitment
The unwavering priority of KIWOOM DRX is, and will always be, our players who give everything on the stage and the fans who stand behind them.
This review was originally intended to lighten the workload on our roster. However, through this process, we recognized the need for more careful internal communication before any information reaches the public. We take full responsibility for the confusion this caused. Moving forward, player protection and performance will remain at the core of every decision we make. We will do everything in our power to ensure our players can compete with stability and focus, free from unnecessary distractions.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion this situation may have caused, and we commit to more transparent and responsible team management moving forward.
Thank you.
KIWOOM DRX

@01vakingz @VALO2ASIA Def wasn’t a week later. He had multiple therapy session and he was off for like couple of months. (And just to note he was already in therapy sessions even before he retired) he just recently started streaming, hoping to recover/overcome from his trauma and depression.

@VALO2ASIA how you retire just to start streaming a week later? That’s some 😔 behavior
