@cnn Please don’t give a platform for people like @JillianMichaels to distort facts and make excuses for one of the most atrocious things in the history of our country. Slavery. As someone with a bachelors in African American studies, this is not news and unethical journalism.

@cnn It’s not wise to debate or distort historic facts. The truth is the truth @JillianMichaels Slavery impacted the African American race and continues to impact us to this day. To mitigate that fact without ever walking in our shoes is ignorant, arrogant, and disrespectful.

The ACA protects folks with pre-existing conditions from being denied coverage, allows young people to stay on a parent's plan until they’re 26, and expands Medicaid. But Donald Trump still wants to end it – and he only has “concepts of a plan” for how he’d replace it.  We can’t let that happen. Vote for @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz to not only protect your health care, but to make it more affordable for everyone.

I often hear folks say, “Donald Trump sent me a check during the pandemic.” I want to make sure you understand this: Congress sent you a check. By the way, Joe Biden also sent you a check during the pandemic, just like I gave people relief during the Great Recession. The difference is that we didn’t put our names on it – because it wasn’t about feeding our egos or advancing our politics, it was about helping people. So don’t be giving him credit for that. And don’t give him your vote, either. There’s only one candidate in this election who cares about you, and that’s Kamala Harris.
