I will be cancelling my twitter account to protest recent changes to Twitter and to show support for public information sharing that is fact based and positive for our citizens and communities. I will continue to follow news and opinion on other platforms. Take care.

On calling a female leader a b**** — It can be a very unconscious label for strong confident women and we have to have the courage to call someone out for that, Michelle Banik, OMERS #WLI #CSuite

Recently, while waiting for a train at College Station, I had a heart-stopping experience when I ended up stuck on the very edge of an overly crowded platform as it continued to fill despite no trains. Packed in like sardines and nowhere to go. Not fun and a dangerous situation.

Waiting on a crowded platform. Subway finally limps into the station. It’s jammed packed. Barely room to squeeze aboard. Train just sits there. Eventually pulls away. Stalls twice between the next two stations. Arrive at transfer. All buses ‘out of service’. This is the #TTC.
