@BuffaloFreddy Yeah I try not to operate on rarities because they’re rare for a reason and our front office hasn’t shown me they’re willing to swim in rare waters in anyway yet. So until they do, in my mind they won’t.

it is definitely rare, but I’m going more our situation specific how long do you get a potential star wide receiver without a costing a ton of cap? Has to be a rookie deal or tail end of one. Id be very happy to way overpay in a trade for a year 3 or 4 WR that needs a contract next year or beyond. Realistically though with our current situation, we are just FKD

Looking strictly at current cap hits for 2026 & only choosing the players a team might let go, the players I see who are realistic to be able to afford under the cap & also upgrade our WR corps substantially are: -BTJ -Christian Watson -Drake London -Ladd McConkey -Jordan Addison -Jaylen Waddle Considering our cap situation & the urgency to win now I would be happy to see the Bills OVERPAY for any of these players. #BillsMafia #NFL #Trades #SalaryCap #GoBills

@BuffaloFreddy Feels like sophomore slump WR trades are rare. Pickens ran himself out of Pitt…outside of that I can’t think of another guy that was traded after year 2 of his rookie deal.

@BuffaloFreddy I’m curious where the assessment of 40-50lbs over weight comes from here? A pro athlete gaining weight during the season is hard. Gaining 40-50 lbs mid season would be damn near impossible unless he’s flat out not lifting, not practicing, and only rolling up for Gameday…

Is he a star, currently? 31 years old, 25 mil cap hit the next 2 years. 2025 he ranked 70th in sacks allowed in NFL for all tackles graded, dead middle of the pack run blocking grade amongst tackles, 6th most penalties in the NFL amongst tackles & hes 40-50lbs overweight at the end of every season. Blinders off, love for players and what they do aside. I ask, is he currently a star player from a talent level? #BillsMafia
