So the 2026 Yamaha is said to getting closer to the 2022 feel. Its amazing how OEMs get away from what is so successful every year.
Going to be interesting to see the reviews of the upcoming changes with the 2027 Honda.

@SMXthots I’d say it’s possible, but both of them also got hurt early on last year and never got to fully develop the bike for Supercross so I’d put the betting odds pretty low. Plus I still think Eli and Chase can challenge Jett for wins, especially if Eli comes in hot like last year

Planning ahead to punt someone back multiple positions holds bad intentions. The outcome of the takeout doesn’t define the intent but we can agree to disagree

@Jper47 @ProMotoFanTalk There was NO intention at all to hurt Shimoda. If you wanna bring up Davies which that also had no intention to hurt, but that one had more possibilities of getting hurt than anything Deegan pulled against Shimoda and the Davies one is even considered a soft move

Does Steve Matthis watch other sports before he compares dirtbikes to another sport?
For example on the racerx review pod he said Deegan was trying to hurt Shimoda which in itself is dramatic
But he compared it to nascar and said they don’t do that there…they literally fight

@ProMotoFanTalk @SMXthots I think his point was, when purposefully trying to take someone out to make them fall back multiple positions, you’re most likely going to hurt the guy which he ended up doing to himself instead. This wasn’t just a simple block pass to take 1st in the race like the Davies pass

Is that what we want in our sport? Bunching, take outs, slow “racing”- for titles? Goes back to ET trying it in Vegas, IMO it’s clown show to have that happen.

@mx_casual After his most recent SX leg injury, there was a rumor that Eli lost some feeling in his leg but then the rumor died when he said he was 100% going into MX. After the up and down MX/SMX season, it really makes me wonder if there was something there
