🚨All Eyes on $2.23 - XRP’s Next Wave Starts Here! 🚨 $XRP has continued to show strength off consolidation, and the Ripple bank charter application added serious momentum at just the right time. 👀That news helped push us above the $2.25 resistance ((once again)). [When to sell $XRP - thread] Recently, I made a post about $XRP.d (x.com/MaeliusCrypto/…), which got astonishing exposure and positive feedback, so really appreciate that. People asked me what are my targets for $XRP, so let's dig deeper into it now, even though you're probably aware I don't like to talk about targets. Let's start w/ a basic chart on $XRP, which is showing us that historically XRP tends to move very fast, w/ corrections being short-lived. Majority of the move is done, when it violently leaves the accumulation area in the form of 2 moves w/ 1 correction in between, that's also when it starts getting a lot of media attention, attracting a lot of retail to buy, some of them only starting to pay attention to it (so they buy later at higher prices). Move is then followed by a significant shake-out which lasts for some time (typical of W4 correction), in order to get rid of as many retail investors as possible, before final move occurs, so retail can buy the top or close to it. As you can see in 2017, 2 waves being part of a W3 were very similar in magnitude, so if we consider that bottom is already in and apply the same magnitude of the first move, it brings us to ca. 10$ for W3 target, which is also a very strong psychological barrier. On top of that, there are no bear div. yet on 1W RSI (in 2017 it occurred on the final move of W3), suggesting W3 is not completed yet. If you have been following me for some time, you already know that I'm preaching it's prudent to sell majority of your bags already in the following wave and re-enter in case strength shows up, signalling final wave may be coming. It's up to you, but that's my plan. Please also keep in mind that 10$ is more than a 30x from the lows of our accumulation area, which is a hell of a ride for a coin this size. Secondly, as already mentioned in my post of $XRP.d, it looks like it's on the verge of going for a leg higher, towards our major resistance area. Just to explain that this one is showing the market share of $XRP, meaning when it goes higher it's outperforming the market and vice-versa (as I noticed some of you didn't understand the chart in a correct way). Usually, it only does 2 major impulses, which doesn't necessarily mean XRP cannot do a W5 afterwards (it still can, but won't be taking as much of the market share as in W3). I am very confident the area above won't be broken, since the market was way smaller in 2015&17 and dominance was still not able to go above this area. Please keep in mind that the area may also not get reached, meaning it's prudent to DCA out on the way up. So the question is, what would be the price of $XRP if it reaches the resistance area above? Obviously, it depends on how high $TOTAL will go, but let's "conservatively" assume it will reach 2.618 fib, which was always exceeded in previous cycles, currently standing ca. 80% higher. Only the move in Total, would bring XRP to ca. 4.3$ if XRP.d remains stable. However, in case it reaches lower level of our resistance area at ca. 12%, that's ca. 3x (from 4.3$), bringing XRP price to ca. 13$, while the price at the top of the range would be at ca. 26$, which I don’t think it’s probable, i.e. extremely unlikely. Now the main question is, when to sell XRP?! I can say w/o any doubt, that in case it reaches let's say 10$-13$ in W3, w/ XRP.d being close or already inside of our resistance area, that's the moment you want to press a sell button for majority of your XRP bags (hopefully you've already exited gradually on the way up, as we all know timing a top is a fool's game). Now you would ask, but why already at 10$, since it can potentially run up to 26$ or even higher if Total MC goes higher as you've assumed? Because R/R starts to significantly deteriorate, once price goes parabolic... On top of that, once XRP.d reaches our main area of resistance, it's prudent to sell and exit the market or at least rotate elsewhere, since XRP will start to underperform the market (if you believe the resistance won't be flipped...(btw, I am very confident it won't). The point of this tweet is not to give you any blind promises or hopes on how we can sell the top, as unfortunately that's not possible, otherwise majority would do it. The goal is to get solid entries and then sell the strength, gradually on the way up, exiting w/ majority of your bags when triggers start to flash and divergences occur. I'll keep my followers updated with XRP charts and share my thoughts on when it might be prudent to start exiting. Until then, let's set aside the targets and speculations.
