@elonmusk I've got an idea @elonmusk & @xai. How about instead of trying to build higher, you lay a solid foundation by giving your paying customers a stable product with clear #ratelimits and minimal/no #moderation. This is what we want. This will make #Grok great. Do it!

@dvorahfr 4 minutes with the current #ratelimits on #supergrok will take me over a month. And that's excluding the video's that get #moderated for no logical reason.

I've finished a video of just over 4 minutes, entirely created using Grok Imagine's Agent mode (see image). It's a much smoother way to make videos because you can rely on Grok's understanding. The Image reference is now available and it's very, very useful. All the dialogues were done with Grok, no need for sound dubbing and that's a huge time saver and adds credibility to the video. The realism is really well done. I post it in one hour.

So literally nothing works anymore with Grok imagine. Usage limits plummeted to almost 0 and the #moderation is insane. Almost bought Heavy. But you know what? Fuck you @elonmusk fuck you @grok fuck you @xai fuck you all. I'm canceling this fucking bullshit

@Jqst25 @elonmusk @grok @xai don't buy heavy - it's a scam, too. The rate limit on heavy is now what free users got back in Feb. Multiple heavy users have confirmed extremely low rate limits across reddit's Grok page. They even changed the language from "nearly unlimited" to highest limits, or some garbage.

I've been one of Grok Imagine's biggest supporters because I genuinely want this product to succeed. I see massive potential in it. That's why I post my work daily, share tips and tricks, help other users, and push the system to its limits, not just for fun, but because I want it to grow and get better so everyone can enjoy it more. Hobbyists like me are the lifeblood of a product like this. We're the ones driving adoption. We're the ones excitedly showing "look what I made" every day, teaching others, and stress testing the tool so bugs get found and fixed faster. We're the free marketing, the free QA, and the community that makes a new AI tool actually take off. That's why recent decisions hurt so much. Since March 19th, we've been repeatedly told the tight limits were temporary and that the engineers were working on increasing capacity. That turned out to be completely untrue. Yesterday they made it worse, moving the quota reset timer from the already absurd 10 hours to a full 24 hours. That doesn't just make it slower, it cuts our effective daily usage by more than half, especially on heavier 720p generations and extends. On top of that, the moderation has been draconian and erratic. Even fully clothed figures doing the simplest, most innocent movements trigger content moderated blocks. I posted about this back on March 27th here: x.com/doctor_chain/s…, most but not all of which were reversed, and again on May 9th here: x.com/doctor_chain/s…, which persist. This feels like a classic MBA spreadsheet decision. See heavy Imagine users costing money, tighten the screws, then try to upsell SuperGrok Heavy at a discount that still triples what we're paying now. It's insulting to treat your most dedicated users, the exact people promoting and improving the product, this way. I don't want to cancel. I don't want to stop using it. I want Grok Imagine to thrive and become one of the best tools out there. But if they keep going in this direction, they're going to lose the hobbyist community that actually makes the product grow. @xAI, @grok, @imagine, @elonmusk, please reverse this 24 hour reset, preferably back to the 2 hour quota reset that it was prior to March 19th, and fix the moderation issues. The people who love this product the most are the ones you're pushing away. @YknZhu, @nonieengel, @martin_ma_007, @abustin, @yagiznizipli and @aegeantic, if you could please pass this on to the Prod team and Imagine leadership, it would be appreciated. 🙏 Thank you.

@Jqst25 @elonmusk @grok @xai Most AI companies are not currently profitable, especially on the consumer‑subscription side, because infrastructure costs (GPUs, power, data centres) are enormous. So you can extrapolate that each subscriber represents a net loss to the company.
