We are pleased to congratulate:

Congratulations to former Jr. Coyote defenseman Phil Pietroniro on representing Italy in men’s ice hockey at the 2026 Milan Olympic Games!
After a decade of professional hockey, Phil has earned the opportunity to compete on the sport’s biggest international stage, proudly wearing the Azzurri jersey. A dual citizen of Canada and Italy, Phil played with the Jr. Coyotes during the 2010–2011 season, and his journey from Arizona youth hockey to the Olympic Games is a powerful reflection of his dedication, resilience, and passion for the game.
From his development within CAHA to competing internationally, Phil’s path exemplifies the impact of hard work and long-term commitment to excellence. We are incredibly proud to see one of our own represent Italy in Milan and showcase his talent on the world stage.
Best of luck, Phil — the Jr. Coyotes community is cheering you on!

Dean Mindeman, a point-producing and physical forward for the Jr. Coyotes 16U AAA team has earned an impressive call up to the Chippewa Steel of the NAHL. Known for his relentless work ethic and highly coachable demeanor, he brings a combination of grit and offensive touch that makes him effective in all situations. Mindeman consistently competes hard, wins battles, and generates scoring chances through both strength and smart puck play. His dedication to improvement and ability to elevate his game when it matters most have positioned him as a young athlete for opportunities beyond our program! Congrats! Work hard and do well!

Jr. Coyotes forward Everett James has been a consistent offensive leader for the 16U team this fall, ranking as the one of the program’s top point producers. This week, James has been called up to the Oklahoma Warriors of the NAHL, where he will have the opportunity to showcase his abilities in both practices and games.
Earning a look from a top-tier junior organization at just 16 years old is a significant milestone. James has recorded an impressive 53 points in 27 games this season and will look to carry that momentum into this next challenge.
Congratulations to Everett on this well-deserved opportunity, and best of luck!
