#BREAKING: Providence is hiring USF’s Bryan Hodgson as their next head coach, per source. Sources also confirm that Hodgson recently declined an offer from Syracuse, citing a lack of NIL resources and fan support. Regardless, the Friars finally get their home-run hire. Our football coach is a proven winner who just brought in the number 1 recruiting class in a conference that had a CFP team this past year. Our basketball coach is a clown. Basketball only A10 is better, but not worth it with Fish.

@HHHardwood VCU almost missed it because they didn't build a resume in the non con outside of beating UVA and USF at home. They had 3 Q1 chances and lost all of them. You can moan about Georgia but they actually picked up 2 Q1 wins in the noncon, that counts

The selection committee either needs to admit that they need to look at the selection process or just come out and say that they only want high majors. VCU wasn’t even in the field without winning the A10 tourney. They just beat UNC. Add it to Miami (OH) and High Point already…

@d00gs These teams have to schedule Q1 out of conference games and ACTUALLY win them, as this year the A-10 as a whole was trash in Q1 out of conference. All four teams on here combined for just 2 non conference Q1 wins (VCU def USF & SLU def Santa Clara).

For decades this league insisted it cannot pause the season to let players in the Olympics, to the point where the IOC cited that as the primary reason for the sport being dropped Now that MLB can make money from their own tournament, pausing the season for it is suddenly doable

@tweetedstuff @mccauley318 Howard was 4th lowest Kenpom ranked team in the field, and TSU was directly in between to Furman and Queens who also got seeded 15th. Both squads were fairly seeded. Ncaa has said descriptive metrics like NET get you in, and predictive metrics like KenPom determine seeding

@mccauley318 TSU and Howard were underseeded. PVAM winning just helped his argument even though they were the worst team on paper to make it in. 1 seeds that win their conference tournament shouldn’t get seeded lower than 3+ seeds in other small conferences.

It's also publically known they pay 3 million dollars a year to play at the Linc which is off campus and draws no crowds. It's no secret the program's future is up in the air

@3BidLeaguePod 1. Temple would not drop to FCS. The cost of playing at Lincoln Financial Field would make no sense for FCS football, dropping football could be in the cards due to the insane costs of even doing FBS 2. If they dropped football staying in the AAC would make no sense. A-10 or CAA
