San Francisco and California have lost a giant. John Burton dedicated his life to public service and never forgot who he was fighting for. His legacy is woven into the fabric of our city and state—in the rights of workers, in protections for foster youth and the most vulnerable, and in the countless public servants he mentored. On behalf of the City and County of San Francisco, I send my deepest condolences to his daughter, Kimiko, his grandchildren, and the entire Burton family. John Burton’s legacy will live on in the city he loved and the generations he inspired to serve.

No attempt to convey any bigger picture or what the science is about. Just an assembly line of mediocrity.

These books are a travesty for so many reasons. They are also the death of art. Absolutely no care, not a single thought, in fact possibly malice went into creating this abhorrent imagery, it's not even bad. Just so boring and bereft of humanity, it seems criminal to expose a developing brain to such a profound lack of imagination that it's absence is actually noteworthy
