Having used terraform/OpenTofu for deploying resources in my proxmox cluster and not enjoying it: Has anyone used Pulumi before and have any experiences positive or negative? Seems like a more developer friendly (and maybe more scalable?) IaC tool than HCL and YAML based IaC.

Hot take: Having a homelab and bringing your digital footprint on-prem makes you a better engineer. As I'm going through the process of cutting costs, I'm replacing more and more personal cloud service subscriptions with self-hosted open source alternatives.

I haven't engaged with the community in a while and feel it's time to reconnect. I'm seeking guidance on re-entering the AI field both physically and digitally to learn and contribute. My focus is on enhancing my "T" shaped skill set. 😮‍💨 🏗️

@KennethCassel I use Chick-Fil-A as an example all the time when discussing industrial automation. They have optimized the drive-through experience! ⏩I also love that they use K8s on Intel NuC HW to run each store software.

if you think all that matters for production is a real time dashboard I would like for you to visit a Wendy’s and then visit a Chick Fil A So much more matters than just if a particular employee is doing a good job relative to peers
