@TheGhostOfHope Advanced warfare isn’t nearly as good as ww2 due to the simple fact that you had p2w guns in advanced warfare without having a way to earn the weapons until after the games life cycle

@Profitcial @RemasterRadar Fuck nah I don’t want crossplay the thing that made cod special on consoles was the fact that you matched with other console players granted it was limited to what console you had but still running into cheater was way less of an issue then than it is now. PC is to blame for mods

4 days inside the Black Ops 1 & 2 files. Here's everything I found 🧵👇 🌐 ONLINE / MULTIPLAYER Both games declare a "joinSession" intent in param.json. In plain terms: it lets you jump straight into a friend's online session from the PS4/PS5 system UI, invites and Game Base, without the in-game menu. Standard setup for games with active online MP. The infrastructure is built into the package, so multiplayer is very likely on board (not 100% officially confirmed yet). 🎮 PS5 ENHANCEMENTS Even though these are PS4 builds, they carry PS5-enhanced flags. In 2026, on a current-gen enhanced build, that means one thing: expect 120fps. Warzone already ran 120fps on PS5 via the PS4 version until 2022, so the tech path is proven. A port shipping without it would be the real surprise. 🛠️ MORE THAN A BASIC PORT This isn't a lazy 1:1 copy, and it isn't Xbox-style backwards compatibility (running the old build as-is). Real work went in: new languages that weren't in the originals, plus PS5-enhanced flags baked into the build. It can't run on legacy PS3 servers either, so it relies on modern PSN online infrastructure. Not a full remake, but clearly an enhanced, worked-on port. 🌍 NEW LANGUAGES (not in the originals) Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, Norwegian, Czech, Danish. Real localization work, not a copy-paste. 🏆 TROPHIES Trophy IDs pulled straight from the files: BO1 → NPWR59944 | BO2 → NPWR59723 One unified trophy set per game, shared across all regions (EU/US/JP). Progression follows you regardless of version. 📦 DLC DLC uses separate Content IDs, with EU/JP versions redirecting to the US master listing for DLC distribution. 🌍 MISSING EU VERSION BO2 still has no EU version on the backend (only US and JP), unlike BO1 which has all three. A full launch would likely need the EU build to appear first, so watch for it as a signal 👀 🗓️ THE "2019 DATE" I first reported this, and it's now debunked: it's simply the PKG packaging method's creation date, NOT a development date. Correcting it since it spread widely. 🔗 TROPHY LINKS These IDs are verified in the files. And with MW4 confirmed on Switch 2, a Switch version isn't far-fetched at all. 🎮 Xbox & PC: very likely too. Sony has no exclusivity here, the Xbox/PC backends just don't leak like PlayStation's does. Absence of a leak isn't absence of a version. Gone through everything readable in the files.
