@AlexisM092973 @sonnyangara I don't think it's a western concept. It is a strong religious belief, well back then. Time to think about the children who suffer the most in bad marriages. Everyone deserves chances in life as well and better environment for our children.

@sonnyangara It's a western concept that has no place in Philippine jurisprudence. As exemplified in the West, it would lead to increase in suicide cases, druggies, single parent households, more juvenile delinquents, more lawsuits, prenuptials, no child relationships, abortion, pop. decline.

Because the law is somewhat convoluted- there is legal separation, annulment, declaration of nullity, psychological incapacity,etc-and people mix them up and their effects.Simplify, make easier espec for less moneyed parties.
