In every single country that has a sizable White and black population and race-specific crime data, the black population commits murder at significantly higher rates than the White population. So claiming that it has something to do with America's history doesn't really hold up when it's not at all exclusive to America. It's just a consistent fact that blacks are more violent than Whites in any given country. People usually default to saying something along the lines of "Well over a hundred years ago, Whites did this or that", which is absolute cope. Blacks in the modern day are just more violent by a wide margin.

Yes it matters and here's why: blacks commit crime at a much higher rate than whites and this figure demonstrates that it's not just a few bad apples but rather that it's a widespread problem among the black community
