It seems like a really big mistake to think of ensoulment as something that "happens" to otherwise soulless organic material. The soul is the form of the body, a fetus that was never viable never had a rational soul to begin with, IMO.

@JakeOfOnline Not in the way an academic is. But it definitely helps to have high level content knowledge to teach the kids who vary upward. Kids can learn anything. There is very little for a teacher to teach if they are not motivated to learn.

My now-6yo quit self-harming once we shifted home, and he told me he feels bad that I have to spend all day in a school building (I’m a teacher) lol

our high schools are, for the most part, not interested in building that environment, because it's expensive and it doesn't substantially effect scores on high-stakes tests. but you can build it and we basically know how

@dsaorthocaucus And again it’s probably technically my fault - but it’s mostly a function of the drivers not knowing how the bike is trying to time his move, or not knowing that a dead stop usually is more dangerous for a cyclist (bc some drivers will jump the gun when its the bike’s turn to go)

a biker turned into a small roundabout in front of me (i was already in the roundabout) and i slowed down so i didnt hit him and he kind of stopped so i stopped because there wasnt room to pass him in such a small space and then yelled at me.
i just don't get what happened.
