I have confirmed that I will be unopposed in the upcoming election. I am proud to serve Davidson County and truly believe real change and rehabilitation happen at the local level. I hope to continue that vision going forward.

We hope everyone was able to spend the day with loved ones and make some wonderful memories. Merry Christmas to all.

On this day, we honor our military veterans. Judge Smith is a Navy reservist and proud veteran of Middle East and Afghan conflicts. Judge Smith's son Thomas is also proudly serving in the United States Navy in Bahrain.

Judge Smith is a Navy Captain. She followed in her father’s footsteps and has proudly served 22 years and has dedicated her life to service. Her oldest son has enlisted and now serving in the Navy as well. Happy Navy Day.
