Today - as every year on April 15th - my thoughts are with the many people I know whose lives changed forever on this day at Hillsborough in 1989. Those who lost loved ones. Those who survived. Those who have campaigned. Those who are no longer with us to share their legacy. YNWA

The report on Phase (1) is expected to be published by the end of 2025 / early 2026. Its findings will then inform the focus of Phase (2)

The Inquiry will be heard in two phases. (1) circumstances surrounding the attack and the events leading up to it, including the perpetrator’s history. (2) the wider issues of children and young people being drawn into extreme violence
