I put a hummingbird feeder under our camera at the cabin so I can now catch them when I’m not here. Lots of hummingbird activity at the feeders today. I also made a hummingbird feeder from a crown royal bottle, reduce recycle, reuse they say… #CrownRoyal #lakelife #hummingbird

24 swans on the lake ( that I can see). Volume up. Purple Martins arrived yesterday adding to the background chatter

@JudyJansenwpg Beautiful. Mother Nature is the coolest! Is your thaw ahead or behind schedule, per 'norm'? The lake I'm on never did a real deep freeze this year. Weather cycled thru warm/cold weeks so lots of frost heaves in the roads now but lake has been clear for several months .

@Spothe @GrantJ18 That was the McDonalds where I broke the pinkie finger on my right hand in playland but my mom was having coffee with her friend and just gave me a cup of ice to stick my finger in instead of taking me to the hospital so to this day my fucking pinkie finger is bent! 😂

I used to sit on that McDonald's balcony, and shout at drivers to get their attention, as one does as a 14 yr old. 🤣
