This might sound like blasphemy to some of you but the One Piece dub really isn’t that bad (other than maybe zoro and shanks)

@la1ahad1 @parkenharbor its not bad, but it's stagnant. It reminds me of Goku's Japanese VA, they don't even try to age their voice up. It's a style choice.

Yea I think One Piece is my favorite anime

@ch__cco This is my biggest fear, because they didn't give Luffy his "hold Hiriluk's flag to the top of the castle's spire while being backlit by a full moon" and that's forever going to be a sore spot for me.

I hope they do this scene on the live action

@parkenharbor Dubs are amazing for English speakers. You'll get little more relevant side gags that a lot of the sub community will not get since they don't speak Japanese, but the subs are still worth a peak. I've watched both and it's a mixed bag in terms of performances, both are great!
