For me those memories with my dad will always stay in my heart. And I hope that I can play this game together with him when it’s out. Won’t sit on his lap though as that wouldn’t be good for his legs I guess 🥲

This is insane good news. The monkey island games introduced me to video games together with my dad. I was sitting on his lap and trying to build a voodoo doll of lechuck in endless hours of wonder. It’s what brought me to make video games for the last 12 years 😍

@Alex_Pieper It depends maybe on the age, our non-hetero-normative education doesn't exceed "what's in your pants doesn't define if you're a girl or a boy" and "people can love whoever they want no matter of gender" and "hobbies, colors, clothes & styles have no gender" yet.

@Alex_Pieper My kiddo once reacted by himself so awesomely on the question "are you a boy or a girl" with "I'm a [their name]". So maybe that's a nice way to react, because no kid can argue against someone being who they are, no matter what norms they are taught somewhere.

Fucking gender stereotypes strike at an early age. Our 4yo came home and was sad because another kid said “you don’t dress like a girl, so you’re not a girl!”. So I’m looking for some #parenting #advice: should I teach her to say “I dress as I fucking please you ignorant bitch”?
