Sony CFO Lin Tao says earnings from Bungie did not meet expectations, but player reception to Marathon has been strong and they will continue to support it! “In our studio business, earnings from Bungie's title portfolio did not reach our expectations, so we downwardly revised our business plan and impaired the full amount of the fixed assets related to Bungie except for goodwill. Player reception to Marathon is strong, with the game receiving a Metacritic score of 82 and more than 90% of the player reviews on Steam being positive. Engagement metrics such as retention also remain at a high level. Going forward, we aim to improve the performance of the game by working to retain highly engaged core users through the introduction of additional content, further improvements in the gameplay experience and expansion of the user base.”

PlayStation has reported a 765 Million dollar impairment loss due to underperformance by Bungie.

I recently went back to play Destiny 2 PvP 6v6 to chill, still plays like comp in worst way and I quickly GTFO. Marathon being a PvP focus game that is not doing well goes to show how embarrassing it really is. Destiny PvP gets abandoned just to make a niche game which most player base don’t care about, play short to try and leave to never comeback quickly after launch. What is Bungie thought process and what do they think it’s gonna happen yes?

I am officially done with BO7 Mastery Camo Grind! This year camo grind is enjoyable compared to BO6. Multiplayer is still annoying, but tolerable thx to nerfed SBMM and less tedious challenges. #callofduty

BlackCell Camo “Opulence” looks really good. I usually only get blackcell battlepass during season 1 because of Vault Edition. The grind is pretty fair. Who knows if they’ll add more blackcell camos in future seasons. #callofduty
