Thank you @gerrycanavan @GrahamJMurphy1 et al for the enormous effort of putting together #SFRA21! @MadelineAshby @JsanchezTaylor & @larsxl_hh all gave fantastic keynote lectures, and the panels I attended were no less insightful & innovative.

Really insightful talk by Lars Schmeink on Capitalism and its outcomes and how we need to create new futures in SF that challenge it offering alternatives. He points out to novels like Infomocracy that prepare the ground for thinking a way out of Capitalism. #SFRA21

Last day of #GAPSnet2021 shapes up nicely as well! Just heard two great talks by @TothHayley (made me want to check out "Noughts + Crosses") and @ACicholewskiMA on Esi Edugyan's "Washington Black". I'm thoroughly enjoying all the inspiring contributions and amazing discussions!✨

Through the figure of Viktoria Modesta, @JuliaGatermann explores representations of disability that also burden those expected to represent themselves as superhuman through their prosthetics; a discourse of superability actually dehumanizes those being depicted #ICFA42
