#OFC “Steve is a city boy through & through. The closest he comes to the great outdoors is a half-hour walk in Crystal Palace Park – stick to the paths, the grass is rather muddy – before nipping in to Gail’s for a croissant and cortado” theguardian.com/politics/2025/…

Last week we announced that @RedTractorFood and @yagroltd had become certified as demonstrating good #farm #data #governance; with more to come this week.

Congratulations to YAGRO for being one of the first organisations certified for good farm data governance in the UK. We love their commitment to "data rights in agriculture, championing transparency, accountability, and ethical data management practices". yagro.com/articles-blogs…

Last week, our certification scheme for good farm data governance was launched with six organisations already signed up and many more being processed. Do you take a responsible approach to handling farm data? Why not get certified to demonstrate it 👇

Congratulations to @RedTractorFood for being one of first organisations certified for good farm data governance in the UK. As CE Jim Moseley commented: "Farmers need confidence that their data is being handled with all the necessary consent and security.." redtractorassurance.org.uk/news/farm-data…

Some encouraging words of wisdom from @GeorgeFreemanMP ex-Science Minister on the power of farm data.
We would argue that it is also really important that we get the farm #datagovernance in order to give farmers the confidence to dive into digital agriculture.

@SkyCricket Too many to choose from! But we're gonna need a few more and inside four days. Forecast for day 5 looks awful.

@adambedders As they say: Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad! Although you don't need to be 25 to work that out!!!!
English

@adambedders Interesting one @adambedders Personally I want decency and integrity along with wisdom. Age does not guarantee any of these but I would suggest age brings experience and if you have the first two then wisdom more likely to follow.

@Gledhillbi46441 @nalex @carolvorders @NeilFra97674870 Mixed Member Proportional. You have two votes. One for a constituency MP and the other for a party list MP. The total number of MPs a party gets ends up being much closer to national share of the vote.
English

In my humble opinion, some form of PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION is needed in future. The first past the post, two party system fails us appallingly.
2019 GE Results
Tories managed to break Britain with just 43.6% of vote giving 365 seats.... so 8.4 seats per % of vote.
Lib Dems had 11.5% of vote but only 11 seats.... so less than 0.96 seat per % of vote
So every Tory vote was worth nearly 9 TIMES MORE than a Lib Dem vote.
It's a broken system
