Today marks 60 days of Trump's war of choice in Iran, and Republicans in Congress still refuse to take a stand. Service members have been killed and put at risk, gas prices have spiked to $4.86 on average in Illinois, and Trump is asking for $455 billion more for this war, all while slashing healthcare and food assistance. We didn't ask for this.

Today we commemorate the hard-fought wins of workers and unions across the world. I will always fight for workers' rights, fair pay, and an economy that works for working families!

Today’s SCOTUS ruling is a betrayal of our basic democratic values as a country—turning back the clock on hard-won civil rights victories. This isn’t just about Louisiana; this will have nationwide impacts on Congressional districting and voter representation for generations.

This fight isn’t new to us.

Americans can’t afford healthcare or groceries, but Trump is too busy plastering his face on passports to care.

I was so glad to join @chicagolabor for the May Day 5k yesterday! I’m running — all the way to the U.S. Senate — so I can keep fighting for workers’ rights alongside great partners like CFL.

I’m grateful for the swift response of law enforcement at tonight’s WHCD. Political violence of any kind is unacceptable. My thoughts are with everyone affected, and I’m hoping for the safety of all in attendance.
