True spiritual growth often begins where comfort ends. The honeymoon phase of spirituality is like the calm before the storm—a necessary initiation. But real transformation starts when we confront the shadow aspects of ourselves that we’ve buried or ignored. The ego’s resistance is a sign of the profound inner shift that’s taking place. It’s not about defending our faults, but understanding them and transcending them with compassion and honesty. When Spirit calls us out, it's an invitation to deeper self-awareness. Instead of seeing defensiveness as an enemy, see it as a guidepost pointing to the areas within that need healing. What we defend reveals where we feel most vulnerable and where true strength can be cultivated. The path isn’t easy, but it’s rewarding because each step forward is a step closer to the authentic self.

Otto’s Origin story: I built Otto a few weeks ago as a fun prototype. At the time, I wanted a way to record my personal journey building startups for the past 4 years and all the decisions that led me to this point. And partly, I’d also been missing my grandmother who passed 6 years ago - man I wish I had captured her stories - she was a fiery, bold and audacious woman. Overall, I’m having fun with building Otto and I’m committed to iterating and improving it. I hope that it will help anyone who wants to tell their own stories without needing to be of a certain age or life stage (*cough* IPO *cough*). There's an intro chapter that you can try now. Anyway, I’m ripping the bandaid and getting the f* off local host before I feel ready... here we go 🎢

Terribly saddened by the news of the terrible loss of Herbert Wigwe , Group CEO Access Bank @HerbertOWigwe , his wife and son as well as Bimbo Ogunbanjo in a helicopter crash. My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Wigwe family, the Ogunbanjo family, Access Bank Group employees and Management @myaccessbank and my younger Brother Herbert’s partner Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace.
