There’s a family I’m friends with who make $60k a year before taxes and yet can afford a stay at home mom, 4 bedroom house, 2 kids in extra-curriculars, and 4-5 vacations to the likes of Disney/Universal/Dollywood per year. it’s got to be credit cards right

I know people are allowed to mow their lawns during the day, but 7 a.m. every Saturday is starting to feel rough 😅 My neighbor fires up the mower like clockwork every weekend, and Saturday is usually my one morning to sleep in after a long work week. I did ask once if he’d consider waiting until around 9 a.m., especially since the yard only takes about 30 minutes, but he said he likes getting it done early. I get it. It’s his yard, and he’s not necessarily doing anything wrong. But when the whole street is still quiet, that mower feels extra loud. I’ve tried earplugs, white noise, and closing the windows, but nothing really blocks it out. Maybe I’m just tired, but I do wish there was a little more consideration for neighbors on weekend mornings. Be honest, is 7 a.m. too early to mow on a Saturday, or is that still fair game?

America should have a universal job guarantee. We have so much work to do as a country. We should have centers that I can show up to at 7am with my ID and get assigned work for the day. Trash clean up, food pantry distribution I mean the possibilities are endless

@creektothewest I see. I hope it gets better for you. Maybe change the lighting and add some music. You can’t panic if you are singing.

@JulieRoberts589 I've tried to make that work for years and years. If I could get it done in 3 minutes that would probably work. 3 minutes is the most before I start panicking I have to be done. Not enough time.

The fluid buildup is from his congestive heart failure and/or chronic kidney disease. Either his heart can’t pump the fluid or his kidney can’t process it. There is no fix, eventually one will fail, and Trump will die. #TrumpFTD Might be why he rushed back to DC.

We had to use these things called cameras. It took a few days to get the photos and you had to pray you got a good pic. No one was on their cell phones and beers were $3. You were allowed to smoke inside and the artists didn’t have to stop at 10pm. Everyone got to go home with at least 4 women after the show.

@Skol__Minnesota You get moving for starters! (Walking or whatever physical activity you can tolerate). Then you start living for the future. I would strongly recommend Joyous to get you over the hump. It’s a little radical, but it works! Formulate the plan. Execute. You can do this!

Just got out of a community board meeting to advise on an application for a new smoke shop in my district. Applicant is a 29 year old immigrant from Yemen. Has $600,000 in the bank. Where did this money come from? How is this not a major red flag for investigators? When a 29 year old from a third world country known only for terrorism has $600k in the bank and is using it to degrade a quiet American neighborhood with a smoke shop that literally nobody here wants or asked for, it seems like a pretty big problem. Meanwhile ordinary Americans can barely pay their bills.

How does anyone sleep in Houston!?! This traffic never stops. 🥱
