If there's one person who can explain how glucose functions in the body during pregnancy, it's the @glucosegoddess herself.
Turns out, excess glucose during pregnancy is linked to higher incidences of diabetes (40% increase) and hypertension (20% increase) for the baby later in life. This from the roughly 60,000-person "sugar rationing experiment."
