@TransfusionWM Learn how to label a sample correctly and don't expect the lab staff to accept a sample which doesn't meet the standard because they won't. They reject these to ensure patient safety not to be mean or horrible to you personally.

@BloodAndBeers While i can understand why this frustrates you, have you thought the patient may be trying to continue to work and this may be the only time they could attend? Its important to remember patient's quality of life. Maybe RCI needs to consider a 24/7 service now?

When blood is required for a routine Haem top-out outpatient, but the sample wasn't taken until 5pm the night before and now it needs to be done on call

@QuotientHQ I'd disagree with your statement. O RhD negative blood as no A,B or D antigens. It has antigens from the other blood groups and is therefore no always suitable for a patient especually those with red cell antibodies

Some of the very invented staff i work with have decorated the lab for christmas. We have our own winter olympics staring labcold penguins. The decoration has won a prize in the hospital competition. @Labcold
