Miracle Trump wasn’t killed. Having been to dozens of his rallies I cannot understand how anyone could have got close with a rifle. There is a cordon around the site. At entry points you go through airport style security with metal detectors. Major security failure

@StigAbell Whilst I get the sentiment, I don’t think people appreciate the cost, impact and logistics of suddenly declaring a bank holiday the next day would bring.

I admire Southgate and everything, but the idea the whole country should get a bank holiday if we win a football tournament involving essentially four or five good teams is ridiculous.

I always feel emotional on Polling day, especially thinking of the places I’ve been in the world where people can’t choose their leaders. Our right to choose is very hard won - whatever your preference is don’t forgot to vote today 👍🏻

@Con_Tomlinson @bbcqtt is not a party political broadcast. It’s a platform where politicians can be questioned and held to account by the public. If Farsge doesn’t like his public image, then perhaps he should reflect on why he is viewed that way.

The questions put to Nigel Farage on BBC Question Time last night were almost unanimously hostile Almost every one asked, "Why are you a racist?", or "Why do you hate migrants?", or "Why are you spreading fear?" Not one Reform voter was called upon, despite them polling consistently at 15 - 21% Audience members selected include a BBC cameraman (who asked the first question) and a migrants rights activist (the second question asked) The BBC aren't even trying to hide their bias They are hoping to browbeat the British public into being too afraid to vote for Reform UK Fighting for survival, perhaps, after Farage pledged to end the BBC licence fee? 🤔
