@ImbullsT@HuntShowdown Inconsistencies during rain is normal it's a weather effect it's like in bf6 when you start sprinting your audio muffled cause you characters is out of breath. It's part of the game. If you want clear weather and pin point audio stability go play valorant

We have been paying close attention to your feedback regarding the newly introduced All Ears Trait over the last two days. We agree that the advantage it provides is currently too significant and negatively impacts the meticulous sound design of Hunt: Showdown 1896, which we all cherish.
With that in mind, we have decided to temporarily remove the Trait from the game, while the team investigates the next steps. This will happen as part of a downtime update early next week. The rebalanced Trait may return at a later point in Devil's Trail. As always, we appreciate your feedback regarding how we can improve it.
This update will also see Bounty Clash fully restored, alongside several other minor fixes.
We genuinely hope that you are enjoying Devil’s Trail so far. If you have not yet entered the game, this weekend may be the final opportunity to experience the All Ears Trait in its current state, so do not miss out.

@PhuzzyBond If that's the case, I feel sorry for every dev and creative at Rare. Wanting to love the craft but having to do it in a way that keeps a roof over your head and a paycheck coming. That's literal hell.

@MarathonTheGame Great list of changes. Nerfing the UESC is kinda eh, I don’t think they are truly that much of a resource dump. Love the adjustments to Outpost, felt like it ignored a really good mechanic. Just waiting for an optimization patch and a WSTR nerf (fuck shotgun jousting). TY!

💡DEVELOPER NOTE: With this change we hope to alleviate some of the resource burden in both Solos and Crews when it comes to engaging UESC in combat. The goal here is to allow your bullets and meds to go further without reducing too much of the UESCs bite. We see the feedback loud and clear that players appreciate the friction that our UESC combatants provide and we have no plans to change that direction.

💡DEVELOPER NOTE: We are temporarily disabling the "Broken Wing" entrance into the Pinwheel while we make some tuning changes to it. In its current state it trivializes entrance into the Pinwheel. We are making some tweaks to maintain the spirit of the "silent" entrance while better matching the risk / reward of the Pinwheel. Runners can continue to take advantage of all other ways into the Pinwheel (including the additional silent method) in the meantime.

A reek of desperation would be a flat buff to the self-heal time and making gray/green shield stronger.
@MarathonTheGame Everyone who thought the UESC was too difficult has already quit. This, mixed with the ammo buff, makes this patch reek of desperation 🤷♂️
@MarathonTheGame Would it not have been possible to reduce UESC health in solo lobbies and keep it the same for trios? Three people focusing fire on any UESC that's not gold shielded kills it pretty fast no matter what. I can understand the change for solos, fighting UESC alone is brutal
