@nickgiva1 @BillFerensen Interesting you couldn't get it to work. Have you tried what I mentioned earlier, with the Google Drive app as a folder? Can it write anything into your drive at all?

@JuliusFabes @BillFerensen Did all that...all works. But without permission to write, that it does not even know it does not have, it's practically useless to me.

A little update on below. Cowork spent hours trying to upload a 35kb .pdf to Google Drive. Got nowhere. I then switched tabs and asked Chat why Cowork had failed. It replied within 2 seconds that Cowork does not have the necessary permissions to upload/write files and that it’s pointless trying until that issue has been addressed. Only 2 possibilities left at this point: 1. Chat is making shit up. 2. The people who programmed Cowork failed in the elementary task of telling it what its limitations are. Which is it, @claudeai ?

Having fun automating everything with @claudeai Cowork. It can do the most complex things quite well, although I have to correct many faults, which themselves seem to be very simple to a human. It does not seem to repeat the errors once you have pointed them out, which is great. You will never guess where it's hung up though: it's finding it almost impossible to upload a simple .pdf file to Google Drive. It tried a ton of ways for an hour and now has run out of tokens. How can such a simple thing be a problem, when I can do it in a second myself? Has really no one had it upload a .pdf file to Drive?? I find that funny/weird.

@JuliusFabes Yesterday if I had done it on my own I At the very least would not have needed to backtrack over several hours of work due to using wrong basic math in indicators. A lot of it is simple errors committed by the model

Spent HOURS yesterday combing through price data with Claude trying to backtest and piece out tendencies... spent half of it impressed with the tech... and the other half frustratingly despondent at the volume of hallucinations and errors in its assessments, using wrong math for some indicators, not knowing until after combing thru insights for a couple hours and having to do it all again from scratch. How on earth are people using this for accurate work? I'm not even trying and it is wildly wrong like 30-40% of the time whilst speaking to me in a confident and jovial tone. People on the timeline are posting shit like "this tech is the greatest opportunity in your lifetime to lock the fuck in, I'm vibe coding shit you wouldn't believe and being so productive while you're still your boring gay self" meanwhile I'm giving it a solid effort and losing my fucking mind over here having to hand hold and walk back so much of it.

@TXMCtrades I guess you need to adapt for working with AI? Every time I start something with it in the end I get to the conclusion I couldn't do it in that amount of time on my own, even with the pain of dealing with stuff.

Now Claude is waiting for me to get back o it, to finish what we started, and I'm hesitant because what if he wastes another 6 hours of my day just to learn absolutely nothing about what I wanted to study because I can't trust its analysis? Fucks sake.

I dislike fake frames, I shit on it constantly... but this dlss 5, the original is smooth, lacking detail, ugly. I dont think there must subjectivity around this. Dlss5 did detailing, this pic keep circulating and I fail to understand whats wrong here, it went from early 2000 graphics to high fidelity, same model 🤷‍♂️
