Credibility is lost when you give a player the task of scoring (1500+), defending (reputation), delivering (did we win?) and nostalgia (dunks, one sleeve, headband, JP1) and I stuck around. This is my daughter dorm. I'm already in the HOF.

@JuliusPage No. Give the people a reason to come! Ben Howland did it. Jamie Dixon did it. Remember the #Syracuse win 3 years ago at home? Jeff Capel did it (albeit for a short time) but key is WINNING! Give the students and the community a reason to come back!

As a fan of Pitt basketball AND former player, I have to do better. What can I do to help get people in the seats? What can I do to have more alum show up? The environment is giving Capel a hard sell. If we wait until they win, doesn't that make us fair weather fans?

@jayselia I like the idea. I don't think the University believes lower prices will yield more fans. Maybe it's some leg work that has to be done to make something like this happen but I like the idea.

@JuliusPage I had season tickets from 2002-2016 for basketball, paid handsomely (including donation), now I’m retired.
How about a retired Alum discount ?
Still a Pitt diehard, took my grandsons to a couple games so far.
How about a youth discount for them ?

I am not blaming fans. I do understand that you do not want to spend your hard earned money to support a product that isn't successful. I understand. But what if we can help. Is it not worth it to try? Because I know when Duke or UNC comes into town all of a sudden it's full.

Best of 7. I went up 2-0 easy. Started getting tired. 3rd game was a struggle but I won. When I checked it up, LJ had a big smile on his face and pushed up on me. He won the next four. That was the motivation. Yoga next 10 months. Wait until next summer. I was 230 in May.
