Introduction to @ambient_xyz testnet. Ambient is a type of blockchain, which is a way of storing and sharing information across a network of computers. It's designed to be fast, cheap and able to handle advanced artificial intelligence (AI) tasks. Ambient is a Layer-1 blockchain that fuses Solana SVM compatibility with a novel Proof of Work mechanism to deliver the fastest and cheapest verified AI inference, with a long-term vision of training an on-chain AGI-level AI foundation model making post-human intelligence an omnipresent public good. onchain world has always felt stuck between two extremes: full privacy or full transparency. privacy protects users but scares regulators. transparency keeps regulators happy but removes personal freedom. @0xMiden is trying to fix that with compliant privacy, your txns stay private by default, but you can still prove what matters when needed. so you can prove things like you paid your taxes without exposing every txn you’ve ever made. feels like a more realistic version of what blockchain was supposed to become.
