These pointless “commitment ceremonies” on Age of Attraction are really making me wish they had just done another season of The Ultimatum instead of this show #ageofattraction

English

@JunDishes I guess they are technically allowed maybe but it ruins the whole element of surprise which is basically the premise of the show!
English

@JunDishes Do u think ppl of color are held to a higher standard because they are not white?

I never went to therapy before going on BB. Only after.
My demons reared their ugly heads while I was in the house and I believe some producers picked up on it. But it wasn’t their job to address it. And I never held it against them.

To anyone considering going on reality TV: Go to therapy, identify and/or wrestle with your demons, and heal. Otherwise, they will reveal themselves in the worst ways while you are under a national microscope.
English

Yes that was and is totally facked up.

@JunDishes The producers did pick on you though. I mean a weight gain montage? Really?
English

@poisonmedom @xaviereprather Oh damn. I’m not watching so I’m not aware. But that sounds ominous!
English

@JunDishes @xaviereprather Honestly? Probably none. It’s a business at the end of it all. That said, some of these survivor players will need it after 50 the way things are going.
English

@poisonmedom @xaviereprather 10000% it could help. But what is the upside for these studios? Like, the real financial upside?
English

@JunDishes @xaviereprather We gotta break these cycles somehow. Could be a norm in the contract. I’m all for you signed up for this so you should take steps to prepare. If they don’t include it, it’s on you. But I rlly think it could help.
English

@poisonmedom @xaviereprather They could but they don’t have to do they don’t. It’s a business. People will always go on these shows whether or not there’s therapy offered afterward. So why would they offer anything for free?
English

@xaviereprather @JunDishes Sure it’s not their responsibility, but why can’t they offer resources, or services? I’m sure the network could give contestants 6-12 months free therapy and they wouldn’t notice. Would love to hear how non winners feel about this perspective or if it would help.
English

@JunDishes It’s definitely not the network’s responsibility to fix problems talent comes in to the show with and most networks provide mental heath services for talent after filming. Which is why talent needs to take it upon themselves to deal with their issues prior or risk being exposed.

@JunDishes I just finished watching Big Brother 4 for the first time since it aired. I had forgotten about the mime. Do you remember him? 🤣
