Happy #InternationalBeaverDay! In the Fall of 2022, the JCSC and community volunteers installed 72 tree guards to protect recently planted and mature trees that are key for shoreline stabilization and were at risk of being damaged by beavers.

The JCSC would like to recognize and thank Vale Canada Ltd for their continuous support in our long-term monthly water monitoring! This year, Vale has donated $10 000 in addition to providing in-kind support and analysis of the water samples we collect from Junction Creek.
