I, as a massive One Piece fan with any sense, will always acknowledge the major problems with the series. 1. Pacing is absolute dogshit in the anime 2. Oda is a weirdo misogynist 3. Problematic lack of Nami making out with buff women 4. Toei.

@egoraptor A lot of it is misogyny. Ive noticed people tend to love the "quirky guy in kitchen" genre but if a woman does the same exact bits she gets dogpiled and called cringe.

People loved this video when it came out. Then people quickly started saying it was omega cringe and that was that. It really is pretty cute and fun how their movements are so surreal. It's clever! I could start throwing around a bunch of animatory terms and nitpick this and that but that's not really the point, is it? Just someone having a bit of fun with a neat visual trick, and doing a pretty good job at it. I'm sure a bunch of kids learned some animation stuff from it.
