The issue with WETH has been resolved successfuly and now all currencies can be deposited as usual. With the help of @Optimism team, Etherscan has rolled out a fix, that now returns the WETH correctly.

It came to our attention that Juniper users depositing ETH have been experiencing long deposit times. This is due to issues with WETH contract (0x4200000000000000000000000000000000000006) Until the issue is resolved with the Optimism team (github.com/ethereum-optim…) it would be best to deposit other currencies besides Ethereum. This happens due the fact that the deposited Ethereum needs to be wrapped by the WETH contract, which doesn't return back the currency to Juniper's wallet. If you were affected, post your transactions/wallets to the Github page to resolve the issue sooner, nevertheless, your ETH has been deposited, just not wrapped by the WETH contract. - Juniper
