It's sad when an L.A. divorce lawyer's opposition to fraud charges complains that someone got through their divorce with some assets -- and fails to address that they admitted facts that an expert relied on and testified they did commit fraud. Let's see if the judge bites today.

@JuriSense A hung jury seems to me to be the most likely outcome. Given the evidence I have seen, acquittal of all charges seems impossible.

Trial consulting 101 for a criminal case -- where a unanimous verdict is required -- the prosecutor must have a well-formed group, without powerful factions that can hang a jury. So how are there 2 BigLaw lawyers on this jury?! The civil business litigator is quoted as saying he knows nothing about criminal law... so he can appear humble... and he probably kept a clean online social media presence so as not to alienate potential jurors in his own cases. @JuriSense Very interesting. I always thought the evidence in this case is the simplest of all the cases & thus easy for attys to follow the law. I’m curious as to the age of the BigLaw attorneys. Most white collar ppl in NYC familiar w DJT bf he became Prez do not have + impression.

@dcourtneylaw A BigLaw attorney's main skill is in advocating for their position, which is usually based on personal values. I'm guessing they have a skeptical view of the justice system, which fits with Trump's apparent defense strategy. I think it depends on their personal views of Trump.

@JuriSense I totally get your point. Do you believe a BigLaw attorney is more likely to convict or acquit based on the evidence? I am more surprised that the defense would allow them to remain on the panel.
