Any reporter or media outlet that says the “paint is peeling” off the Lincoln Reflecting Pool is not legit.
It’s sealant.
There is no paint.
I had the only interviews with the contractor.

The Nukote PA II polyurea coating (and similar Rhino-style linings) is a tough, spray-applied membrane designed for strong adhesion and durability in wet, high-traffic, or industrial settings. While no coating is indestructible (poor prep, rushed curing, or mechanical damage during the project could cause localized issues later), widespread peeling this soon wouldn’t look like one big floating sheet.
