Serious question. Was sentiment this bad during previous bear markets?

We never had a bull run. We never had euphoria. We barely captured fair value.
During every other 4 year bull market Bitcoin heavily entered the upper channel.
Upper boundary (purple) is $350,000-$400,000

There is a good chance we see the next hanta death in the next couple of days / week
Then next week we are statistically in the window to see the first secondary contact cases develop sypmtoms and test positive
Given incubation time is long, there is room and time to corner and contain it, but rhetoric in the media will likely start to shift going into June, if secondary cases are confirmed
This will make July and August two months that dictate if preventive measures taken are succesful, because it is the window in which secondary cases evolve into tertiary cases
If not, September and October become the gravitational anchor for panic and political discussions on more widespread measures
The biggest question remains how it spreads. If it wasn’t through physical close contact, is it airborne? If they sat on a plane together but didn’t touch each other, how did it spread? And if it is airborne, how does it get airborne? Pee? Poo? Sneezing? Afaik we don’t have the answers to this. Toilets as the main contact surface would be a nightmare because we tend to share an aweful lot of toilets together, especially in public places, planes, festivals, pubs, workspaces and at home.
We don’t know if secondary spread will occur but we are also not in the window yet that statistically has a high likelihood that a full generation of transmission to disease evolved outside of the ship.
I hope none of this comes true, but with 11 confirmed cases and a large number of people monitored, the next few weeks will give us a lot of data to extrapolate the risk profile.

It was indeed the biggest bear trap ever.
It’s been wild how many over bearish doomer accounts have been followed over the last few months.
And every single one or them is insanely wrong.
If you haven’t realised yet that this isn’t a 4 year cycle bear market, I don’t know what to tell you.
I have been sharing cold hard data for months on end telling you this was coming and it’s been faded.
The biggest ever period of disbelief is loading and everyone realises the 4 year cycle is no more and the macro cycle is what matters.
It could not be more obvious for those that choose to actually look.
As I’ve been saying for ages now…

It will be very obvious in hindsight. This range is going to go down in history as the largest bear trap ever. Everyone thinks we are following the 4 year cycle, convinced that we have a very long recovery ahead. They don't realise we are still in the same cycle, and that this is very very likely, just a mid cycle correction. I have all the receipts for this on my page, go and look through them if you want more info. During this range, we have had the Iran conflict start and Google Quantum paper FUD, and Bitcoin is higher. You need to slap yourselves out of your bear coma, and understand what this means. You have all been conditioned so much, through fear and pain, to not be able to see anything other than that. Which is why this next move will be one of the most staggering moves ever. It will blindside almost a whole industry of holders, who cannot understand why we are going higher. Bitcoin has never had a cycle of this kind. And the vast majority of people simply cannot see what has never happened before. Those who put in the time, understand the overall market position and allocate themselves to this potential, will win big if/when it plays out. And this is the way markets always are. The few who can see what others cant, that have the courage to position against the crowd, more often than not end up being the ones that win the largest. This is not the same bear market as before.

Not sure why people get so toxic over someone sharing a market view. It’s an opinion, not a prophecy. This isn’t a prediction game but a positioning game. Trying to maximize outcome in all environments. And in trading, opinions are wrong all the time and change with the tape.
If I’m wrong, I try to adjust, as fast as possible. i wont hold the view because it was stated before. It might well cost me opportunity, but that's the price to pay when i think there is capital needing to be protected or an opportunity further below. Sometimes that means giving up upside to protect downside.
Happy to engage and debate, but I couldn't care less what you think of my views because they don't impact how I position. If a view of mine bothers you enough to be rude or toxic, because it conflicts with your bag, that’s just your insecurity and immaturity.
