Yes. It's been almost nine years since we got a new 3D Mario game. But Donkey Kong Bananza was the first 3D Donkey Kong game in 25 YEARS. I get the wait can be brutal, but by comparison nine years is child's play. Plus we get a 3D Mario every gen. So it's coming regardless.

Old conversation, but still... I would've agreed with him if he had framed it differently. Nintendo has not forgotten about Mario. And Switch 2 doesn't need Mario to be successful. But it has been way too long since a new Mario 3D game. In that regard, Nin10doland is right.
